G’day, I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
I’m trying to change the way we think about wellbeing and mental health. I believe that we are designed to be fundamentally connected to the rest of nature, and that this has profound impacts on our the way we are meant to live our lives, and ultimately, our mental health. I study and educate others on the fascinating new science that shows just how deeply connected to nature’s blueprint we really are, and how we can incorporate this new knowledge into real-world, practical, everday activities.
“After 22 years in the military including 8 years in the special forces, I have seen first-hand how we are influenced by the environments we work and play in. What I know is that people are desperate to be a part of something meaningful – we are hardwired to do things that are purpose-driven – and our environments have to reflect that.”
Have you ever noticed how much calmer you feel when you’re walking in the bush? Ecopsychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on the relationship between our mental wellbeing and the environments we operate in – with nature playing a starring role.
